Baltimore.

You maybe heard of it before, it got kind of famous because of the Sitcom 'The Big Bang Theory', Yes, you are right I'm talking about the Cheesecake Factory. This is actually a place to get fat. You come in the door and about 40 different types of Cheesecakes smile at you. We decided to take some home on Easter-Monday. The one I got is the one in the middle in the back. I don't know how they do this, but they actually have raw Cookie Dough in it! It is their special cake for the 30th anniversairy they have. It tasted amazing, but you can't really eat a whole piece without feeling uncomfortable after it. I would recommend the Cheesecake Factory to people who are on vacation in America, because they have a huge Menu and you can really fell the America in ther foods.

One Day we took a train from Washington back to Baltimore. I think it's super cool that their train tickets are shaped like the ones for planes. In ther upper lefthand corner you can see the name of the customer. I know, it's not my name, but we had to Hurry so we all four got the same name on our Tickets. It was a fun ride and they actually had the Safety-Guide-Things they have in plane we you get the Safety-Advices.

The Pittsburgh Hiking Crew.

We went on a walk in the hills of Pittsburgh. I really wasn't expecting that so I only had my sneakers with me. I almost fell down a few times but it was super fun! I kind of like this picture because you see the futuristic (when you're specificly way past) Star Wars with the old leaves on the ground and all the mud. It was really muddy because it rained the day before... I met a bunch of nice people and we had delicious lunch at a traditional restaurant.

Niagara, Canada & New York State.

That's the Niagara Falls from the Canadian side. We went ther on our Spring Break Vacation. Our Trip included Canada, which means we drove all the way up from Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, through New York State first to the American Side (A city named Niagara) to Canada.
On this picture you can only see the Canadian side. The one in New York isn't that big and impressive. When I'm honest I thought it would be more height... But it sure was an amazing Trip! I got to see Canada, and not every exchange student can say that.
When you think now:"Oh my God, the water is so blue!" I have to tell you it is actually not. It is more greenish... But who wants greenish water at the age of instagram?

McDonald's in 'Murica.

That's me my friend Aly and her little sister Lanee at McDonald's today. In germany I don't fit into the play things anymore but you know, everythings different in America.
We took the Challenge. How "wannabe-cool" can you be in the McDonald's Playground slide wit an 18 month old kid. Nailed it.

Eagles vs. Wings.

Today me and Aly went to a Icehockey game. It was my first Hockey game and it was pretty funny. At the beginning it was really quiet at the stadium but with the time it got louder and funnier. First, we (the Colorado Eagles) layed behind 3:0, but within the second and third period we scored three goals. In the last four seconds of the last 20 minute period, we finally scored the 4:3.
Actually Icehockey is a super agressive sports. I made a video of a little fight, and I hope that the quality isn't that bad.
Thanks again for the Tickets, Debbie!

Childrens Hospital Aurora

That was yesterday with my friends Evan and Aly. We visited Evan in the Hospital, and he has to stay there for a couple weeks. So people, if you're reading that, I just have to say, that you two are freaking amazing! Glad that I met you! And by the way... Nice eyebrows you two have there ;)

The highest point of Mead. (Altitude)

Thats's the sunrise you can see from my house. I know we're sorrounded by the Rocky Mountains, but I think this is actually the highest point of Mead. On the left there used to be a Skatepark, but it was old so they teared it down. It was the main atraction in Mead, and now it's gone... I hope they build a new one.

Sister or Aunt Inga?

I think it's time to introduce my Host-Siblings. They are technically not my siblings, they are my niece and my nephew. But I think it's easier to see them as my Host-Siblings, because my actual Host-Brother is in his 30's. Daniel is 2 years old and Heaven - Daniel calls her Big-C bacause he can't say Big Sister - is almost 13. Heaven is a really good friend of mine, and Daniel is sometimes nice too.

Lost!

This is our cat Moonie. her real name is Moonlight but that's a little long. She lived at our house and she could get out whenever she wanted to. For a few days now, she disappeared. My Hostmom told me that here in Colorado they have Coyotes and maybe one of them got her... I think it's sad though she didn't liked people very much.

Hard Rock Cafe Denver.

The guitar of James Hatfield!

Had a really good time at the Hard Rock Café in Denver. I was a little distracted when they started playing Taylor Swift, but then I saw the guitar of the Leadsinger of Metallica and whoa, that was awesome! On the picture above you can see the Barkeeper. Look at his hair! Very fancy!
And because I'm a tourist I had to get a Sweater of it. I think I never saw so mans stoned people in one place before. The food is definitely awesome!

Central City, Rocky Mountains.

Small, but zoo can see me in front of the Opera House in Central City, which was the only big City up in that Area when there was the Gold Rush time. When you drive through the City it's kind of a weird mix between - for American standards old houses, casinos and old mines, which are more like ruins. There are still some Concerts played at the Opera House. Central City is also surrounded by wonderful Nature. Tons of Ice, blending white and touched by no one.

Denver.

Last Friday I went downtown to Denver with my exchange group. On the picture above you can see the view over Denver from the first floor of the Science Museum.
We also went to the Molly Brown House. Molly Brown is a woman which survived the Titanic. She wasn't really fitting into the stereotype of a woman back then. She traveled the world, learned different languages and stood up for more rights for women. She died in 1942 and after her house should get destroyed to build a Parking Spot, the group 'Historic Denver' saved it and restored it. There are a lot of myths going around the house and the guided tour was really interesting. Molly Brown was also known as the unsinkable Molly.
We went to the Spaghetti Factory for lunch, which was really cool. After that we wanted to go Downtown but it was so freezing cold and windy that we decided to do something else...
In Downtown Denver, right next to a Potshop there is a great Store called Voodoo Doughnuts. We had to wait about twenty minutes to get some and I decided to surprise my Host Family with a fresh Doughnut delivery. All in all it was a great day, and I met a few people I never saw before. So whenever you should go to Denver and you don't know what to do, just go to the Molly Brown House and join spontaneous a guided tour; after that grab a weird Doughnut at Voodoo, maybe one with Bacon on it, and your day will be definitely awesome.

Time for Snow

My first time snowboarding in the USA!
The Italian exchange student Julia and Dennis, a really nice friend of me host mom picked me up at around 6 o'clock in the morning.
We first drove all the way down to Vail, but because of the Ski Championship it was closed and we went back to an area called Keystone. Dennis lent me the board of one of his exchange students he had before, and it fitted perfectly.
We had a really fun day, and yes, I may look like a guy or like ZZ Top, but I freaking enjoy it!

My New Home.

A small house at the suburb. Next to a small river and a skatepark. Nice outside and nice inside. I like this small Town really much.
It's great.:)

Red Robin.

I found the perfect place. When you are in the USA and you want to go to a Restaurant like you imagin it with all stereotypes, go to Red Robins. Great Burgers, free refills of Fries ans Drinks and  the perfect American feeling of Freedom.

Rodeo in Denver.

On my second weekend we went to Denver, to see the Rodeo. The official name is National Western Stock Show. It was the first time I saw the other Exchange Students form my group, the Aspect Foundation. Rodeo is so stupid but so funny at the same time!
It is weird. Weird but great.

Nice.

Star Wars and Marvel, two of my favourite things combined in shape of a Darth Vader key and a very Nice selfmade blanket. That's Great.

In West-Philadelphia born and raised.

After my arrival at the Philadelphia International Airport I had to wait 4 more long hours to fly to Denver. It was a really long day...

During the waiting there was my First Try of the taste of America. I never thought that I was trying one of the most popular Foods in Colorado.
